It’s very difficult to meditate when you are in a stress state. If you were able to relax, you would be doing it. If we aren’t mindful, meditating can push us into deeper states of stress or even cause us to re-experience a trauma state. It can be helpful to try short meditations, active meditations and make sure you have grounding points.
