Yoga therapy is the specific application of yogic tools (postures/exercises, breathwork, meditation techniques, etc.) to address an individual’s physical, mental, and emotional needs. Unlike a public yoga class, yoga therapy is provided in a one-on-one or small group setting. Yoga therapists receive in-depth training to assess their clients based on their individual health needs and keep them safe. They collaborate with you to address your specific goals while considering any limitations you might be experiencing.
Yoga therapy promotes health and healing for a variety of conditions such as depression, anxiety, stress, cancer rehabilitation, chronic pain, sleep issues, and autoimmune disorders.
