Mobility and Recovery

Achieve efficient and optimal recovery, increase flexibility and prevent injuries from the physical and mental stresses of your activities and job.

This course is designed to use the latest research in conjunction with the ancient wisdom of yogic principles to help you increase range of motion and recover from physical activities and job stress.  The two best ways to increase range of motion is static stretching and PNF stretching.  The two best methods for speeding recovery and rejuvenation of tissues and energy reserves from physical and mental stressors is Restorative and Yin Yoga.

In this series of courses we will cover:

  • Yin Yoga for Athletes designed to achieve efficient and optimal recovery, increase flexibility and prevent injuries from the physical and mental stresses of your activities.
  • PNF Stretching to increase range of motion.  These are short and fairly active stretches.  Great for someone who does not like to sit and stretch!
  • Restorative Yoga and Meditation to speed recovery and rejuvenation of tissues and energy levels.
  • Yin and Restorative Yoga designed to help you "Move with Ease and Stress Relieve!"  A focus on techniques designed to enhance flexibility, improve joint health and reduce muscle tension. Ideal for all fitness levels, participants will learn safe, effective movements to increase range of motion, relieve stress and promote overall wellness. With a focus on mindful movement you will cultivate improved mobility, posture and relaxation to feel more balanced and energized in daily life.
